Ed Macedo has been with PharmaHealth Pharmacy since October of 2008. A graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Boston, MA, Mr. Macedo accepted a Pharmacist position at PharmaHealth’s South End location. His previous position was as a Pharmacist at Stop & Shop Pharmacy.
Mr. Macedo has built a great reputation for himself through his many years of working at the old Macedo Pharmacy in New Bedford. He brings with him a great level of pharmacy experience and knowledge, including nursing home and diabetes consulting, as well as being fluent in both English and Portuguese.
In addition, Ed Macedo has contributed to the City of New Bedford through his high level of involvement in such city organizations as the Industrial Development Finance Committee, Portuguese Cultural Land Committee (Chairperson), the Sunset Social Program, Immigrants Assistance Center (President), South End Business Association (Board Member & Past President) and St. John the Baptist Church (Youth Minister, Eucharistic Minister, Lector).

Jennifer Yott joined PharmaHealth Pharmacy in April of 2006.
In 1995 she graduated Cum Laude from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy.
Additional education includes several training courses given by PCCA, which is based in Houston, Texas. These courses include Primary Training in Compounding in May of 2006 and a Pain Management Seminar in May of 2007. She is currently taking a course in Pharmaceutical Care and Compounds for Veterinary Patients.
Ms. Yott is the Pharmacy Manager at the PharmaHealth South location. She is skilled as a compounding pharmacist specializing in veterinary medicine and pain management. Accomplishments as a pharmacist at PharmaHealth Pharmacy include the development of both the company’s flu and pneumonia immunization program and the therapeutic interchange list.
Additionally, Jennifer Yott is involved with providing consulting services outside the pharmacy. She performs quarterly pharmacy consults for Advanced Eye Centers in Dartmouth, MA. She also provides pain consults and veterinary consults for both patients and owners.
Prior to working for PharmaHealth Pharmacy, Jennifer worked for PharMerica for many years. She took on many different roles including consultant and pharmacy supervisor as well as the control of the narcotic division and the editing of medication sheets. She was responsible for the development and implementation of an ongoing competency examination for pharmacists and technicians that fulfilled requirements of JCHAO. Ms. Yott was also responsible for the development and implementation of two educational programs that would have all pharmacy technicians become state certified as well as take the National Certification Examination.
Jennifer Yott maintains membership in multiple pharmacy organizations including the Massachusetts Independent Pharmacists Association (MIPA), the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), the Society of Veterinary Hospital Pharmacists (SVHP) and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP). She is also a member of the MSPCA and the ASPCA.

Toni Lynn Cardoza
Toni Lynn Cardoza has been with PharmaHealth Pharmacy since April of 2002.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater, MA, where she was Vice President of the Social Work Club. She has also earned an Associates degree in Human Services from Bristol Community College, Fall River, MA. In addition, she is a nationally certified Pharmacy Technician.
Toni Lynn Cardoza is the Compounding Lab Manager at PharmaHealth Pharmacy’s South End location. Ms. Cardoza’s primary focus is compounding drugs into various dosage forms. She is responsible for creating and testing formulas, preparing stock products, performance checks on equipment, and interacting with patients and providers. She is also in charge of inventory control, data entry into PK software, research, monthly reconciliation, maintaining daily log books, and adhering to USP Chapter 795 and 797 guidelines.
Prior to working for PharmaHealth Pharmacy, Ms. Cardoza was employed as a program counselor for a therapeutic behavior modification program, where she provided individual, group and family therapy to emotionally challenged children and families. She was also employed at Coastline Elderly Services as an Elder At Risk/ Protective Services worker.
In addition to her position at PharmaHealth, Ms. Cardoza is a member of the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP). She was also "Pharmacy Technician of the Month" in January 2006, having been selected from a nationwide group of technicians through PCCA (Professional Compounding Centers of America).
