NEW BEDFORD - PharmaHealth Pharmacy welcomes pharmacist Ed Macedo, R.Ph., to their South End location, on 458 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford. A graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Boston, MA, Mr. Macedo joins us from Stop & Shop Pharmacy. He has built a great reputation for himself through many years working at the old Macedo Pharmacy in New Bedford. He brings with him a great level of pharmacy experience and knowledge, including nursing home and diabetes consulting, as well as being fluent in both English and Portuguese.
In addition, Ed Macedo has contributed to the City of New Bedford through his high level of involvement in such city organizations as the Industrial Development Finance Committee, Portuguese Cultural Land Committee (Chairperson), the Sunset Social Program, Immigrants Assistance Center (President), South End Business Association (Board Member & Past President) and St. John the Baptist Church (Youth Minister, Eucharistic Minister, Lector).
